I called BMW NA this afternoon to see if i could get this poster at BMW's branch in Westwood,NJ ((201)-307-4000)
After i talked with the woman, she said she would check and call me back, but she forgot to do so. During our conversation she said that there is another BMW office in NJ that could be of more help to me. I will call again tomorrow morning.
My question to you guys who have had success by calling BMW NA is... which branch did you call, and what was the number?
TIA
Kevlar

If I remember correctly, I believe it was the one in NJ that I called.

I don't know which number I called, but it was the customer service number. The operator looked for the poster and called me back and mailed it to my house. I haven't seen it yet since I'm away at college, but I'm pretty sure I got the right poster. I gave the number to my friend and he said they were out of them or couldn't find them.
Good Luck

I haven't had time to get a proper frame yet... this is the ghetto frame edition from the corner store for $15.

All I can say is that poster is sick. How much it cost?

I have a cool poster of a tit silver E36 M3... below the car it says:
<b>"BFGoodrich when you're ready to get serious".</b>
I'd been asking for it at the WalMart service center for several weeks. (No, I don't have the M3 "serviced" there... just the land barge minivan).
My girlfriend just went in on my birthday, and nicely asked to speak to the store mgr... then brought the poster to me.

Called BMW NA Customer Service. They said they would look. They called back the next day and told me they didn't know what I was talking about (WTF? How hard can it be). They told me to check with my local dealerships (HA!). Oh well. If anyone has any luck please email me the number and person you talked to. If you've got the picture how about trying a HI res pic with your digital camera (take the flask off or you'll get glare).
Thanks,
Andrew

They don't make the E36 any more (yes, i know you all know that), but for that reason, they have no incentive to pay someone to print more posters.
But if you find one, I'll take one.

LOL I don't have the poster, but I actually have the issue of Car and Driver in which it got the greatest handling car at any price title.
Which was cool until your first autocross and you found out the car had significant terminal understeer! (BTW, I don't believe the car won any of the comparison handling tests, but it won the overall handling comparison on the overall manner in which it handled).

If I remember correctly, the M3 won because it is so forgiving that any fool could drive it fast. (I'm paraphrasing, but that was the gist of it.)
Still, I enjoy my M3, understeer and all.

Wow and this rave review is with the stock staggered wheel/tire fitment. The E36 M3 ('96 to '99) handles MUCH BETTER with 8.5s and 235/40-17s all around!

What I would love is if someone could find the e36 M3 GTR pic where the phrase is, To our fans it's [something] To the competition, it's the same story. Then it lists all the wins for the past years.

Is BMW the only place that would have these posters, or could a private poster retailer maybe have them? Anyone look there?

That is how I found the M3 GTR picture above. I searched on the internet, found it, ordered it, and payed to have it professionally framed.
Took a little while to find, but it was worth it!!

by far the best saying from any ad that bmw has done (even though it was a z3 ad) is "happiness is not around the corner, happiness is the corner"

They have all the sick posters since the 70's. Said they moved them all from their old location so they wanted to keep them. They did give me a free E46 4-door poster with the M3 comp wheels.
