OK, I ran Mintex pads on my '02 Mini with pretty good success as far as brake dust. I picked up my wife's '05 Mini "S" Cab and here we go again.

WTF, I thought Mini would have gotten the brake dust problem under control.
After 100 miles of driving, with no rain, the fronts are coated and the rears are getting there. This is bullshit. Mini's answer to this, is always the same.
"A soft pad for good pedal feel, will always do this." :rolleyes

HELP! For those of you fed up with this. Please e-mail MiniUSA and let them know.

Now, for those of you that have had to do something about this yourself, what is your choice of pad? This car is driven on the street, not on the track.

Thanks in advance for your time.

The "problem" will never be solved, its the same way on all BMWs, even Audis and Mercedes to a somewhat lesser degree. Just get some Mintex Redbox pads like you had on the 02. They're what I'm running now and they're great.

Thanks Kyle. Where's the best place to get them? I ran them on the '02 and was pleased with the low brake dust and comparable performance to stock.

I get mine locally from a shop called R Speed. They've also got an online storefront at www.rspeed.net but I'm not sure if you can find them cheaper from somewhere else online. Check out www.mossmini.com, www.webbmotorsports.com, and www.helix13.com, they may have some deals. :az

I found a place on the internet that had them. The fronts were $35 and I already had the rears that I had never installed.

The site is http://www.importrp.com

Thanks for your help.
