View Full Version : WTB: 96+ sunroof harness

I have a 95 318, and I bought a 97 sunroof motor, and the seller didn't have a harness for it. The motor has the right wires on it, but where it hooks up to the car is different. If anyone knows if I can splice the wires, or do I need all new wires/connectors. anyone got some info on it would be appreciated. I think the 97 motor has one extra hook up on it too, aside from the power (which i'm assuming controls the one touch open)

lol... I got a motor already that is 96+, I just need the correct wiring to attach it to the car.. motor has all the original wiring with it, but the 95 wiring on the car itself is missing one extra connector i think that this 96+ motor has... maybe i can just splice the wires.. if so which ones, anyone got an idea?

(I have 2 shopping bags full of misc 97 and 98 plugs)

alright the 96+ motor is just the motor picture. #2 is the new connection that isn't on my 95 motor.
the 95 switch and motor picture is a picture of the motor and switch still in the car.
the last picture 96+ switch is the new (yellow) switch, which has a 4 pin connector, yeah.

are you talking about an inline 4 pin plug? What color is the sunroof button, yellow? green? (If its one-touch it should be yellow, I believe)

why buy it if someone can give it to me for cheap.. its probably garbage for them.. funkmasta says hes got bags full of wires like that.. lol

dude, 25 dollars from the stealership is cheap and not to mention brand new. your an idiot if you dont want to go to the stealership and get one. also, if you dont have the switch, you will need it as well.

well I'm not in a hurry, had this motor sitting here for a long time.. If i can save 15 or 20 bucks, why not you retard? (i get to call you a retard cuz you're calling me an idiot :P) I don't have cash just to throw away.
