I'm getting these Voxx wheels around middle of the week (18x8). I dont think these are very good quality but you cant beat that price! will let you know in the near feature.

I had some Voxx Forxas. After a summer on Michigan roads 3 of them wouldn't balance right at the tire shop.

unless they were using Hunter (road force or something) balancing machine or anything like it, sounds to me like they dont know how to ballance the wheels. or they just wanted you to buy from them another set :evil2

Road force balancers wont help if the wheels are bent...They only help in matching runouts between the tires and wheels to minimize vibration.

Of course a bend is just a really large negative runout...

you didn't read my post carefuly.
what I meant was:
1. if that guy's rims had been bent and the tire shop used road force balancer they might have problem with the coplete balance
2. if they used basic balancer, then they shouldn't have problems, as you can balance pretty much any wheel (just a matter of weights)

They were done twice on a Road Force Balancer at Discount Tire. The wheels were definately bent because you could actually see them wobbling on the balancer.
