Posted this in the 3 series area before I saw this forum. Want to know if the wheel well can fit 18x8 wheels with 225-40-18 tires, 35mm offset; without any body modification having to be done. I'm fairly certain it can, but I wanted to check.

I believe that is the standard size/offset for upgraded wheels and no modifications will be needed unless you have your car dropped considerably.

Sounds to be fine... I run 225/40/18 and I rub a little but nothing to worry about.

no need to roll the fenders, you'll be fine.

i have 225/45/17 tires on right now and my current wheel has a 35 offset. no rubbing( well there was for the first day, a bit, but then it went away completely. probably just dirt and stuff in the well ).

anyways, the new wheels i am getting are 18s w/a 35 offset and i am putting 225/40/18s on them just like you. this tire size is the same overall size as 225/45/17 so we'll be fine:alright:
