How many microfilters in an e36 M3?

This is probably a stupid question :az: . I have an 1998 e36 M3 2DR Coupe and was wondering how many microfilters are in the car? I'm pretty sure it's 1, but was browsing through a Bav Auto catalog and noticed that the subnote said my car requires 2 microfilters.

I just changed the microfilter in my car a few weeks ago. If there is 2, I definitely don't know where the second one goes! I know...I need to buy a Bentley manual. Have a Chilton's and it's not very good. :bawl

I searched the boards and Unofficial BMW. Nowhere does it say there is more than 1...but thought I'll ask all the knowledgeable BMW enthusiasts on this board.

There is only one (1) Microfilter that I know about.

swapping it is a PITA.

Only one in mine. Swapping is not difficult. And there is no need to break the filter frame like some folks say.
