Nice view. Did you get to drive to the top? Imagine doing it at 100 mph! :eyecrazy

this is the peak:

I was going only about 10 mph most of the way up. As you can see, the switchbacks are pretty crazy there. I could never imagine going full speed up there, but there is a race to the Peak every year in May.

also, there are no guardrails and you could literally fall thousands of feet to your death. They take down your liscence plate, car make and color if you are driving up at sunset.

I was driving the ti up there. The roads are mostly dirt, so the car was already dusty and it would have looked like crap if I took pics of the car at that point. Here's one of me and the car parked at the peak:

If you've never been there it's quite a beautiful drive. I have a really bad fear of heights, so Matt had to put on some calming music for the drive up. I let him drive down, because I was so shaken up after not looking out my driver's window for an hour. (most of the edges of the road are on the left, going up)

you coulda put the pics up of me sitting out on the ledge.... had a great view

atleast it wasn't as bad as at the summit... was sucking wind..

going from sea level to 14,110 feet in 19 hours can kill a person...

it did end up raining right after we got down from the mountain, the clouds were starting to look ominous at that point.
