we do NOT want this to turn into a h0ndA/Acura/Ricetastic meet. We dont want ANY of our meets that way. This is because many in the european world look down on Japanese cars, and if we began to attract whordes of Japanese cars we would be un-attractive to the european world. We do have to remember that while we dont want to alienate ourselves, dA was started as a club to celebrate european cars. Come one come all. We wont turn you away, and we arent trying to offend people, but if we start inviting a friend of a friend of a friend who's LS-Vtec is sure to kick my ass, then we have Less experienced drivers with something to prove, riding on bald Rage brand tires, taking all of us out.
There are plenty of clubs and businesses that cater to the Japanese cars, not very many that cater to the european crowd. Although we appreciate all cars, we are european car enthusiasts, we would like to remain true to that, if you drive a Japanese car you are welcome to stop by for dinner and drinks after the drive, but as far as the drive goes, we would like to make it a european only event. There may be cars with room, that you could ask the drivers if you could join them for the drive.
We appreciate your support in helping our club grow, we have a great time with all of you guys, and hope to see you at future meets.We hope to see you all there on the 18th, and dont forget to gas up before coming to the meet If you are going to be late, please let either me or JB know.
