Swapped in some SS brake lines this weekend, and did the generic two person bleed job. I have Speedbleeder nipples on all my vehicles, but as I started the job I found out they sent me the wrong ones...and I was already started.....

So, alot of the bike community prefers the reverse bleed by using a syringe and push fluid up from the calipers to get rid of air...

is that possible in the BMW system?

if not, what power bleeder does everyone like? I have a mityvak I bought 10 years ago but it's pretty worn out, and I never really liked it much.

Will a power bleeder really do a complete job on the lines, or should I just take the car to a shop and have them professionally finished?

Been reading alot of threads on the pressure bleeders, and it seems like you just fill the reservior and it will allow you to 'suck' fluid from it without the pedal being depressed? true with the M?

Bumping since this is the only thread related to power bleeders. Curious what applications you guys use as well.

I believe that the syringe method is not possible with an ABS equipped car.

The power bleeder part is true- the power bleeder allows you to feed fresh fluid in and bleed the brakes by yourself.
