Hey guys. So I miss all the open source "communication" software that was available for my late Camaro...

Does anyone out there know where I can get information on the OBD I/Bosch DME protocols? Since there doesn't seem to be any open source/free software out there, I thought about maybe working on my own to talk to out DME units.

I wish you luck, but this seems to be closely guarded information. You might contact NickG for information.

One item....Jim Conforti once had a DME editor on the market for this, but that was pulled based on a business decision on his part. I believe he is comming out with some sort of replacement, but it will be some use some sort of pay-per-use scheme, IIRC...
