1999 3 Spoke Steering Wheel Airbag

Hey, does anyone know about how much an Airbag costs from the dealership or other source for a Steering Wheel Airbag for a 1999 M3 with the 3-spoke design?

damn that isn't a bad deal from the dealers....does anyone no if it is a true bolt on to convert M3's that came w/ the 4 spoke steering wheel?

The single stage airbags from the 3spoke wheels are pretty hard to find used. They were only used for about 1.5 years in the E36 M3's and M Coupes/roadsters and then they went to the 2 stage airbags.

i guess i'll start trying to find them at salvage yards...hopefully i can find one for under $200.

It is a very simple mod. I did mine about 3 mo ago w/ no issues whatsoever. PM if you have any specific questions.

It looks so much better, the wheel is thicker in diamater and it comes with an airbag.
