Hi,
I am looking at leasing a 2004 525, with sprt, premium sound, premium pkg, xenon headlights and non SMG auto. I was quoted a price 48k by the dealer in austin. I am open to getting the car from anywhere. What price should i be looking for, or which dealer gives a good price.

Thanks again.
I hope this it the right place to post messages of this sort, sorry if i put this message in the wrong place.

Holy crap man, for 45k you could get something sooo much nicer....like a E39 M5!!!!

Or a very fast E36 M3

or or or....

The new 5's are ugly anyways.

I used to have a 2002 BMW 330ci sport coupe, i really did not like the ride or the noise from the car. So now 3 series for me. So i went and bought 05 c230 on the day they landed on my dealers lot around mid May, now i want either 05 SLK350 (53k MSRP) or 05 A6 (Fully loaded 48-50K) or an 04 BMW 525i. I would not mind waiting till next april and getting a fully loaded SLK55. You are right about the fugly interior on the the BMW, but I am ready to over look that in favor of the anti roll stabilization, I really like it.
BTW there is no problem with my C230, it is a nice car, but I want to try another car, you can say I am bored with the car now.

Back to the price, what is the best deal I can do.

If you don't need the space, get the SLK.

I believe the e60 is a great car, both inside and out, but for the price of the 525, you really don't get that much power. Others may deny it, but you get much more for you money in the form of a TL or a G35.

If you can splurge for the 530, then I'd say get the e60.

I am not really a fan of anything other than german three. you are right the 525 is underpowered and SLK is a a great car in terms of power. I am about 23 now and not sure if i need a car with a size of 5 series. I will be test driving the SLK tommorow. I might just sit on this car chaning for some time.

How would you rate the adaptive roll on your 545, Thank you

The anti roll suspension is great. With normal driving and even spirited driving, the car remains flat. It really gives you confidence in the twisties and makes you think you're a better driver than you really are.
