Recently purchased another e36 and upon further inspection i found that one of the rear mounting tabs for rear sway bar has broke and no longer there. Looks like ill have to get a new one welded in there, but question is where can I even source that part? I see a bunch if reinforcement kits, but not the physical piece. Any ideas? Thanks

This pic shows the side that is broken:

Junkyard? Sawzall or cutoff wheel.

The OP is not the first. There is a reason rear swaybar reinforcement tabs were being sold 15 years ago. Must weld in place. Once the broken one is fixed, consider reinforcements. There are actually a bunch of reinforcement parts available for the E36, all for good reason.
