hi,

new here, so decided to make a small thread about my car.
i live in Belgium so apolagize for the bad english.
Started 3y ago on an e34 that i use for track only. Got a bad headgasket and kinda got carried away from there.

no roll cage yet, since i just want to use this car as a test platform and only try functional stuff,
next chassi will be sand blasted and made as light as possible.

first few track days included these upgrade already, and that flywheel does magic stuff, damn is this thing responsive and pulls like a train.
no issue in keeping up with a gutted e30 as wel with same engine gearbox and diff combo, althou i put pink top injectors in mine

this was still running on an eibach b12 sportline kit wich was to soft for my liking.
then got a blown head gasket and went kinda all the way with the m20 engine. still dreaming of building a m20b31 but for now a b29 will have to do

red one was a set i bought and was gonna mount, yellow one is newer and lighter, the red one sits in a 18' wheel on a 356mm disc
was roughly to visualise it but yellow will go in on the front

I don't see an Accusump, highly recommend some kind of oil accumulator if you're going to be doing this long term. I've oil starved at least 3, probably 4 M5X engines over 6 years trying to make baffling work.

Besides that, game on! Love to see these cars being used as the affordable track toys they are.

accu sump, had to google it i never heard of it. They look nice, but hell as expensive as well.

I welded this into my sump, but now that i have seen the cost of accu sump i would prefer to go dry sump to lower the engine en lay it further back. So it has a better weight distribution.
Been going throu your thread numerous times. Kick ass, but i love m20 to much and the 3 series platform is to expensive.
I do 'race' only in the smaller northern france and belguim tracks so i think that kinda works in my favor, not alot of highspeed long corners, all more technical courses.
Still dreaming of going to Spa - Francorchamps one day with it.
