Good evening
I have a problem with my M50b25, it idles rough, like a cammed car, but when i press the throttle it goes up without problem, i already checked coils, spark plugs, cables and vacuum sistem, disconnecting the maf doesn't really do anything. I'm planning on running a diagnosis as soon as i can. Any suggestions on what else i could check?
I tried to check other threads but it didn't really help :(

Update:
Cleaned the icv and changed the plugs, it's a little better but it still idles rough, I sent the injectors to a shop for get them checked

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? A smoke test is a good way to find those, and M50's really hate idling when they have vacuum leaks. Beyond that, you should do a compression test to make sure that it has even compression; an engine with low or uneven compression will often idle like crap.

You should devide into 3 categories:
- Fuel system: Fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pipe, pressure regulator, fuel injectors.
- Air: Leak test, air filter, MAF.
- Electrical: Ignition coil, spark.

As experience, I will check fuel system first.

Good luck.

Good morning, Sorry for the late response, checked for it, but i didn't found any vacuum issues, i resorted to changing both cps and camshaft position sensor, it still runs rough but it's really better, i think that probably it's a maf problem mixed with a bad ecu map, anyway tank you for the help!
