UHMW Mounts E34 540i - NVH Experiences

I have UHMW subframe bushings and the NVH is not noticeable at all, still comfortable as daily driver.

I am considering installing UHMW engine mounts, been reading about this combined with UHMW transmission mount creating unbearable NVH, but UHMW engine mounts with stock rubber transmission mounts seems to be the right formula with acceptable NVH.

Curious to get actual experience responce with this combination (UHMW Engine Mounts with Stock Rubber Transmission Mounts).

Horrible. Motor mounts must stay OEM.

The trans mounts can be upgraded to Rogue Engineering as they are not bolt through unlike most of the other aftermarket offerings.

Upgraded engine mounts lead to a very noticeable increase in NVH, whereas the subframe bushings really aren't noticeable. I'd recommend sticking with OEM engine mounts and transmission mounts unless you're building a track car or something with high horsepower.

Thanks for the feedback, looks like OEM stock motor mount are the way to go for comfort!
