To fix the rear washer pump I require the terminal pins and plug body that interfaces to the washer pump..

RealOEM shows graphic illustrations of various plug terminals .. but I feel as if I'm left to guess the correct item

General question.. is there anyway to identify the appropriate part numbers for pins and connector bodies used throughout the car. I looked thru the ETM which will give me the connector number and general description (ie 2 pin)
Am I missing something within the ETM or is there a separate reference or document?

Thank you..

the graphic illustrations in realoem are not 100% correct, my method: go into realoem, select a p/n of a part where I assume it could fit, then copy the p/n and google for a real picture, most online shops have even some pics from these items, so that really helps

Hopefully this helps:
- The plastic plug should have a BMW part number on it, if you look really close. It should be one of 61 13 1 378 400/401/402/403/416/417. Like Shogun mentioned, you'll be able to find closeup pics with a web search. If you can't find the part number on the one you have, then you need to pay very close attention to the shape of the plug (which side is rounded vs. squared off).
- The terminals are the BMW "2.5mm D" type. You need to choose the terminal based on the wire size you've got (measured yourself, and/or verified with the wiring diagram), but I'm guessing you want 61 13 1 376 204, which is for wire sizes 1.0-2.5 mm2. You'll need a crimp tool to get the new ones on nicely. Also, if you want to remove the old terminals from the old housing without breaking the housing, you'll need a special tool (see here: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?2401264-How-to-Make-a-BMW-2-5MM-Terminal-Removal-Tool-For-under-2).
