No. You need the yellow diagnostic head (Siemens Diagnosekopf GT1) - the predecessor of the OP(P)S.

The ICOM interface does work with the E31 with ISTA.

I have oem actia icom next with ista+ 4.39.20 which adapter do I need 20to16 pin oem icom or china adapter for icom.

I've only used the OEM adapter. I have no experience with Chinese clones.

Which version Ista are you using.

I haven't used ISTA in a while (I still use DIS), but I'm pretty sure it was 4.23.x. I have no reason to assume newer versions won't work, but maybe others can correct me?
