Just a quick reminder that those running on lowered e34's benefit greatly by running these spacers'. I've just put a set of them on my 91 m5, running H&R springs, and they dramatically improve the wandering and steering feel. I basically changed lots of things on the suspension, but forgot the most basic of things. Running 25mm ones on the OEM 17" throwingstars, and there is a heap of clearance still. I have another set going on the 540i shortly.

Could you speak to the clearance of the lower control arm's ball joint to the rotor brake dust shield with those ~1" spacers? And how is the clearance (or lack thereof) when front wheels are turned lock to lock?
I plan on installing 1" (25.4mm) thick spacers when I swap out my front springs; which are supposed to lower the car about 1.25"

It gets a little tight with the brake dust shield, I usually have to bend it out of the way. Though recently I've just been removing the brake dust shields entirely, when I do coilovers and go low with the bigger bump steer spacers the dust shields just get in the way of everything. On some cars I've also cut the bottom piece of the dust shield off with an angle grinder. Just gotta be creative with it.
