Recently a friend dropped me his E65 760i to put back together. Long story short, he attempted to do repairs himself, and took most of the car apart before realizing he was in over his head. Everything is back together now, but he lost many parts, some being the two valvetronic computers in the DME box.

Vehicle cranks but does not start. Scan with INPA shows:
1B VVT - ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED
1E VVT2 - ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED

DME error codes:
2737 68
27A4 24

CAS/EWS was successfully resynchronized through Snapon scanner, I could not find the EWS module in module list for INPA, unsure if it has a different name. I see Security 1 and Security 2, but neither are accessible, both claim communication issues. Dash claims key recognized, but INPA shows above EWS faults. Wondering if the different or uncoded DMEs are causing the EWS to be triggered?

I believe VVT1 and 2 need to be "coded" with VIN to this vehicle, but I am unsure how to complete that task or what that function I'm referring to is called. Aligning? Synchronizing? Marrying? I have a functioning proper cable and NCSExpert, but am unsure how to complete the task.

I understand these vehicles are the first of the fiberoptic communications systems, so several local "specialists" have declined to get involved what-so-ever which made me a bit nervous, but am unsure how that applies to this situation. Any help or a point in the correct direction would sincerely be appreciated.

Cheers

Can you use INPA to go into the individual module, specifically the DMEs and read the codes there directly? That full list isn't ideal.

yes I can, I will post my findings tomorrow.
