Remote key will not lock/open passenger door--but inside lock button will???

Hey guys I have an e38 98 740, but I'm asking ya'll because there are more people here and it's fair to assume the locking system is the same as e39.

So changing out the actuator is a PITA job, which is why I want to confirm whether or not it's the issue before I do anything. Anyone know why the locking button on the interior works for all door locks (locking and unlocking), but for some reason my remote key fob will lock and unlock all doors EXCEPT the passenger front door?? Seems real strange to me. I've done a search online and I'm stumped. Any hints would be really appreciated.

Ok, so update: I have 2 keys. it turns out one of my keys will lock and unlock all doors fine. But the other key I use, will unlock and lock every door except the passenger front. Very strange....I think I'll just have that one reprogrammed. But If anyone has any clue on why this might be happening let me know. Strange to me.
