New r55 owner, battery question.

Bought an r55 and chasing some issues (surprise!) one is a heater blower motor not functioning.

Is it a simple matter to disconnect the negative battery cable to interrupt power or is there a more complicated method that has to be employed.

Normally if you're simply removing the blower motor, I wouldn't disconnect battery power, but you can.

Removing the ground (negative) can be enough
