does anybody know where i can purchase some of this to put on my headlights to protect it from rocks n stuff from scratching and cracking the headlights?

or, is there other brands of these urethane type flim shields that i can buy that other people would recommend?

it seems that i can only buy these things online as most stores dont tend to carry it.

i would prefer to go buy it at a store rather than online if anybody knows where i can pick some up.

I would expect that most tint shops like apple auto glass would have something like that. I have some stone guard on my front end and it was put on by a tint shop i think.

Try contacting some of the supply houses that supply detailers and body shops. A lot of those places distribute the professional 3m products, like ScotchCal film. If they won't sell retail, ask if they'll refer you to either one of their customers, or to another supply house that will sell retail.

However, for the small amount that it sounds like you need, you might as well just buy it mailorder from places like HMS, Griot's, BMP, Bavarian Autosport, etc.
