Hello! New user here, actively searching for my first E36. I'm in central NC (triangle area) and am willing to travel ~300 miles for the right car (or more if it's really perfect!).
I'm looking primarily for a convertible or coupe, but would consider a sedan—any year I6 (323i, 325i, 328i, M3) and must be a 5-speed manual. The closer to stock the better, though tasteful mods aren't at all a dealbreaker. Needs to be pretty clean; minor issues and repairs needed are fine, but I'm not looking for a major restoration project. Ideally looking for Avus, Estoril, or Hellrot; but would consider any color if it meets other criteria. Interior color isn't super important, though I am partial to the tan/beige variants. Must have clean title in hand.
Budget is $5K, cash in hand and ready to buy! Thanks for reading
