04' 325i sport pck, Winter Tires?

Hi,

I am writing to see if anyone has experience with driving a 325i, sport package with 17'' rims/performance tires in the winter. I am hoping that I will not need to buy a set of winter tires as my lease for this car ends in a year.

I live in Chicago and expect to be driving on only a few inches of snow between plowing efforts.

If you are planning on driving your car in the winter you are going to need snow tires. You could get by with an all season tire and just keep them on the car.
