E30 Soft top instructions

hello. i have a 1987 bmw 325i with the soft top. my current one is messed up and needs replacement. i bought the new top but it will cost me $1k to get it installed. i have no knowledge on soft top installs and i cannot find any CLEAR instructions. if anybody could help me out that would be great. Thanks!

Top shouldn't be too difficult to swap out. I did it last month on my cousin's vert with a cheap replacement from amazon. You shouldn't need to take the frame off the vehicle, I'd leave it in place.
