I have a 2014 BMW 328I GT N20 149k miles with the 120308 low boost pressure. The car has no power, even when I reset the code the car still has very little power If I reset it while its running. the drivetrain malfunction doesnt pop up until I shut it off and drive it again. I noticed the boost pipe collapsing, replaced it. Wastegate actuator is within limits, no play in the linkage. Smoke test showed no leaks. Pulled the diverter valve to look at the diaphragm, it was good but replaced it any way. Used a turbo boost sensor from a working 2014 328i GT and still no power and the 120308. Thats the only code its throwing. Any ideas on what Im missing? Thanks

Any other codes?

Has the turbo been inspected for any damage?

Hi thank you for replying, No it hasnt thrown any other codes, and no I had not done an actual inspection of the turbo but just got the cat out to get a look. Im seeing the wastegate flap bushing is all worn out. The arm itself doesnt really have any play when closed but the flap sure does so I'm betting this wastegate flap is going to be the issue. It'll need to be changed for sure so hopefully a turbo does the trick, I'll definitely update this as soon as get a new one in.

Turbo was locked up & wastegate flap was flapping, new turbo and lines and its running normal again.
