1999 BMW M3 manual transmission with Dinan stage 2 package (Dinan intake, exhaust, and stage 2 software) and Hi-Flo stability control delete. 182k miles with clean title. $14,500
The exterior of this car is amazing, with excellent body, paint and trim and no curb rash on the wheels. As far as the mechanicals, I went through it completely. The suspension and steering are completely new with OEM parts. I replaced EVERY joint and bushing in the suspension, motor mounts, transmission mount, subframe and differential mounts, guibo, all tie rods, all shocks and struts and mounts. In addition, I put new brake rotors and pads all around. All parts were from FCP Euro (with receipts). I also changed EVERY fluid and filter in the car. Engine compression is consistent across all cylinders (took pics). The previous owner changed out the entire cooling system (radiator, all hoses, water pump, thermostat). I tracked down owners for almost the past 20 years and can say that the car has been well maintained and well-loved. It starts, handles, shifts, and stops very well. No check engine lights. No rust.
Everything works on the car, including AC, sunroof, power seats, seat heaters, and all accessories. As far as flaws, the driver’s window is slow to raise and the car thinks a taillight is out, though they are all fine. Also, the on-board computer has pixels out (although I had the HVAC unit professionally rebuilt so it is great).
As far as the interior, it is above average. There is a 2-3” tear in the driver’s seat, a little bit of sag to the headliner, and the steering wheel has been changed to an aftermarket with an NRG quick-disconnect. The car will come with a few extras: HRE Sport lowering springs I never put on, leather dye for the interior colors, and touch-up paint (which it doesn’t need!).
I built this car to deliver the original E36 M3 goodness. This is still today considered one of the greatest driver’s cars ever built, and this is an example you can enjoy worry-free.
