New Tire: Avon M500

Was cruising tirerack today and saw these in 245-40-17 for $115, treadwear is 280. It doesn't have a rating chart like most tires on tirerack, but the reviews are good.

One guy in a 1990 M5 says there better than yokos avs es100
A guy in his Audi A4 says they are better than S-03 (that's high praise)
Two guys in camaro Z-28 says they're awesome.
etc.

Not really sure how to post a link, so...yeah

Anyways, opinions, anybody with experience with these tires, comments, etc.

According to the Avon tire site (www.avontyresusa.com), they are only being sold through Tire Rack at the moment. Since Tire Rack just started carrying them, I don't think you'll find too many people have used these tires (excuse me - tyres :) ) yet.

Avon is an old English brand that is owned by Cooper now.
