Headliner glue has expired. What to do!?

Hello, I bought the headliner glue online a week ago (mid July 2022). Turns out, it was made in 2017, and has expired 06.2022 (last month)!

Is it still safe to use, or should I avoid using it?


How to determine, if the headliner spray glue gone bad?


Could it be that it still looks ok, and works, but because it was made in 2017, it'll not hold well for long, and such?


Would you use it? How would you know, if it's still good? Made 5 years ago, does it mean, its quality is severely degraded even though it was always factory sealed?

if the container was never opened, stored in a place protected from sunlight and not not exposed to temperatures exceeding 50C/122F, it will still be usable.

the expiration date has expired, but you have to try to use it. Of course, if there is a receipt, you can replace it
