Hello guys.
I bought another facelifted E39 with factory xenons with automatic headlight adjusters.
As you can probably guess, they are in pretty bad condition (broken adjusters, foggy, worn-out xenon bulbs...).
I use this car mainly for my job. I work during the night so I need good night visibility.
On the roads I drive, I actually prefer the reflector headlights.
(Even though I work during the night, there are still many cars on the road, and constantly switching between low-high beams is no-no. Projectors just don't work good here...)
I was thinking about buying these TYC headlights. LINK (https://www.tyceuropeonline.com/catalogue/automotive-lamps/bmw/5-series-e39-09-1995-06-2004/head-lamp/kat-82504/)
It says they have electric motor for adjustment.
My question is: Is wiring for adjustment motors the same?
I don't even plan on using automatic adjusters, but I will need them to pass inspection.
Inspection is done on flat floor/ground, so there is no easy way for the inspector to test them.
If I simply connect them, are there going to be any problems? Different pin-out or maybe different type of motor?
Just to trick the inspector that everything is properly connected.
Thanks in advance!
