My IKE says 185796 KM which matches the dash, but the EWS says 917504 KM which is not only crazy, but damn near impossible. I have changed my LCM several times, but no other module from what I know. Why the discrepancy?[

So, the LCM has already been replaced.
How about the IKE and EWS ? Which module is the original on this car, and which one is an implanted module that may have been re-coded to the car -- or not ??

you might grab a cheap carfax and see if the car's history will support either number...mileage is often recorded when the car is brought in for service, inspections, etc.
I man-swapped my 530i 3yrs ago...I bought it as a non-runner w/ failed auto trans and a reported 150k..that's what it said on the title....
When I started coding it, I was shocked to see that a figure of 393k miles was stored in several modules!! I thought I screwed something up in coding.
Well I got a carfax and sure 'nuff some road warrior a few owners ago put 30k miles per year for 10 yrs on it...Somebody had swapped the cluster at some point...I presume there was a tamper dot, but I never turned it on before I swapped/coded it.
I complained to the seller and after he saw the carfax he refunded me $500 which was what I asked for....
