Hi,
I have a 2009 328i XDrive coupe. 98k miles currently. I would reset the service engine soon light and it would return within 2 minutes. I replaced the MAP sensor on the intake manifold and cleared the light. I drove about 40 minutes and turned car off. Came back and turned car on after awhile and the light came back. The sensor did help it take a while to come back that’s pretty much it. No rough idling, no throttle problems, nothing of that sort. What can this possibly be? I did not use a genuine BMW sensor for the MAP, could this be the issue? Thanks! I’m new to bmw as well.
P.S: on a cold start, the car does feel a tad bit rough but nothing crazy at all. Is this an issue??
