FOR SALE: 1992 BMW 850i 6 SPD. MANUAL: Schwartz black/parchment, no accidents/clean carfax, 132k miles, 6 speed manual, repainted under previous ownership, 4 previous owner (Maryland '92-01/ Calif '01-'13 / Tx '13-'19 / Mass. '19-present. Current owner alway kept car garaged and driven Spring - Fall. Maintenance records include (intake gaskets -2019/129k mi, / batteries-2020 / LED headlamp conversion-2020, cooling system overhaul-2021 including radiator, water pump, thermostat, expansion tank, aux, water pump, heater valve, coolant flush / crank sensors -2021
Car presents well as a driver (non concourse), absolutely no rust, some minor chips and scratches, and what appears to be acid rain etching on hood paint. Always gets positive comments at cars & coffee, and BMWCCA gatherings. Recently 3 step detailed (clay/polkish/ceramic)
Excellent driver. Starts promptly, idles smooth, pulls strong through all gears and rpm range. Second gear synchro prefers double clutching or non-aggressive shifting. Clutch engages smoothlyt, AC blows cold (R134), sunroof fully functional. Tires are 225/55/16 Michelin Pilot Sports- DOT date code 2007, radio pixels need repair. Full set of owner manuals and trunk lid tool kit.
