It's called Velocity-627 18"x8 ET35

Anyone know of this rim and does it have the proper bore hole for a e36/325i 1993? I've spoken with a seller of this wheel and it has a 35mm offset w/ 5x120 bolt pattern, but they were either evasive or just flat out uninformed as to if it has a bore hole behind the cover plate to match the hub on my bimmer.
I'm very aprehensive to purchase wheels online that are not definate about the wheel being hubcentric with the proper bore size. It is to my understanding there are three things essential for fit: Bolt pattern, offset and bore with proper size.

I'd like to see this rim on a E36. Closest pic of a somewhat similar style wheel on a bimmer was this pic I found of a 745:

But on the other hand, I feel like taking the safe route and get this Moven 18":

Any info? What about opinions on style?

that is a bling rim for a big pimp car like that 7ser, not our sporty small e36, get the moven

edit: those are the lighter of the movens, go with them.. and try the BMW caps, i like them better than the Moven ones even though the moven ones are really nice

Thanks for the reply 2%,

Yea I was thinking bling too when I saw the Velocity wheel with it's deep lip. Couldn't help but daydream a bit as to what effect it would have on a E36 though. And that 7ser just looked pretty damn hot with the wheels it is sporting in that pic.

I noticed the trend here seems to be to stay away from too much chrome. I came from the "old school" of hot rods in my younger days when 15" chrome crager wheels looked fairy good on a '71 Chevelle. But that just don't jive with these bimmers!

Seems the 5 spoke design is so overplayed, but at the same time is usually a safe choice too.

Yea, unfortunately those are good 'ol 15" steelies with hubcaps on 'em.

This car is very stock, but in very good condition. I got it back in April and am slowly getting around to doing the mods to it.

While I agree with the thought that the wheels do not belong on the car... you should try to express you opinion in a more subtle fashion...

I'd roll on my brake rotors before I ran those wheels on my car...

You might want to go 17's & get the HP Flight which looks exactly like the Movens. Personally I would get the HP EVOs for the lip appeal.

I was gonna do HP EVO's & color match the spokes but I've been told that it might not look good, right Dave-o?
