Hi guys,

Seems to be a lot of 'weird brake light issues' out there! I've done a lot of searching, but can't seem to find any solutions for my problem.

My inner brake lights do not work on both sides. This is the light holder inside the quarter panel, not the trunk lid. The outer ones do work. The bulbs circled red (both sides) are the ones that doesn't work, the blue ones do. I have the notification on the dash also.

I don't think there are any fuses, they're in the FRM module? Couldn't find anything obvious on the fuse diagram, nor with some Google Fu..

Things I have tried:

Fresh bulbs
Reset FRM counter
Voltmeter (No voltage)

Anyone got any ideas for next steps with troubleshooting?

My current theories:

Broken Light holders (I do note some melty melty around the top indicator light, could this be related? It is present on both sides too. Seems a bit far fetched that they both go out, but could be a good starting point?)
FRM module needs replacement (but why are all my other lights completely fine)
Battery needs replacement (it is due to be replaced, but again why are all the other lights working?)
Broken wiring (no obvious signs of damage, and its not in the trunk which is a common issue. Why are they both out?)

Other potentially relevant info, I have a cornering light error, despite my model not having cornering lights.
