So I recently changed the back driver side window regulator in my 2009 323i n it works good now with the new one in place, but after I swapped the regulator piece now the door wont latch shut anymore, I checked it over again n I really cant c anything out of place so I'm wondering if the door lock actuator coincidentally just failed on me or if I somehow disconnected it? I re positioned the latch piece n tried to shut the door to get it to latch but it wont. Anybody ever have this happen when changing a window regulator?

Is it banging up against the lock bar if so you need to push the locking tab on the latch to the open posisiton or pull on the inside door handle a few times

Tried that but unfortunately no go, the window regulator piece was such an easy fix n yet now the door wont stay shut, so annoying, if I have to buy a new door lock actuator then so be it but it just seems too coincidental, when its not pissing rain outside I'll take the door panel off n check it over again

The lock actuator itself still works, just the latch piece is so stiff but even after I greased it up a bit it still wont latch shut, annoying as hell
