I have a 1995 BMW 740il with 250,000 miles. Orient Blue exterior and tan interior. I have owned the car since 2005, bought it when I lived in California with 90,000 miles in 2006, originally purchased out of Newport Beach, CA. It was my daily driver for over 13 years.

Selling the car for parts. It was inspected, registered and a daily driver up until last July, but I just do not have the time. The cars body is in great shape for the age, and interior is roomy and very comfortable. It is my favorite and I think the best BMW body style.

The car has a brand new battery; major issue that caused the move from a daily driver was the interior fan failing. I thought about taking on replacing the fan myself, but just as I was planning to get going. I moved the car, and it starting leaking coolant. I do not know if it is just a hose or the water pump. I do not think it is the water pump, because it was done only a couple years prior; but have not explored the issue. I took it as a sign to move on, need the driveway space.

I am not looking to part the car out, could probably get much more money for it if I did. The body panels are clean, and interior is upgraded and out of a '01 model, have extra interior parts and extra sets of rims. I replaced the head liner and it has a glass moon roof, which was not an option in 1995, out of a 2001 instead of the sliding painted body panel.

Just curious since you've owned this car for a long time, did you ever do timing chain guides? And at what mileage?

Good luck with sale, best 7 series ever!
