So doing some research. Last time I did this, I found a 265mm 540 clutch disc and pressure plate. But I cheapest out and just gave the original dual mass flywheel a quick hand resurfacing. It worked well for a while, but the flywheel is now clunking and needs to be replaced. I should have just done it while I was in there. So here we are, and my an is to use an e39 m5 clutch disc, pressure plate and flywheel. Amazon can actually have it here very quickly and at the best price I have seen.

So. My question to the collective is.... Do I need to change my slave piston to work properly with this clutch? Or will the stock running gear, master and slave pistons work fine for this clutch in. The e34?

The kit will come with a new pilot bearing, throw out bearing. I am planning on getting new bolts to bolt the flywheel onto the crankshaft. What else do I need? Rear main seal was replaced last time I was in there and remains leak free.
I think that ought to cover it. Yes?

there will be no problem with the slave cylinder, it works well on different size of pressure plates

The clutch pedal will be very light with the stock slave. The e39 m5 slave makes for a weightier clutch pedal, at least with my ttv steel flywheel.
