Hi
I have had a major leak of water in my boot which left the Park Assist Control Unit drowning. I have dried it out but I still get a warning on the dash stating to Park Yourself after I fitted it back. I dont see any lights illuminated on the park assist button either, I think there is little green indicator light when it is on.
My question is after fitting the old unit back, do I need to code this or clear the existing error?
I suspect the unit has blown so if I purchased a new one would I need to code this to the vehicle and how best would that be done. Excuse my ignorance a newbie when it comes to car coding etc.
Thanks for your help
