Hi guys I have E46 M3 Convertible.
My KOMBI gone bad and I have replaced it with a used KOMBI but that is without the option "convertible".
I want to change the VO and add Convertible option to the KOMBI I have installed.
The tool i have is VVDI BMW. Did anybody try doing this ?

Use NCS Expert (BMW engineering tool) and a k+dcan with pins 7&8 bridged to read the spare coding data from LCM or EWS and write it to kombi. Then default code the kombi. Simple 5 minute process with the correct tools.
