18 tire size recommendations.

I have a 2016 328i N26 F30. My OEM tires are F:225/45/18 R:255/40/18
I don't know if I should go with Square vs staggered. I'm keeping the OEM wheels and I'm not raising or lowering the car.

I prefer a smooth silent ride above all and I'm in a hot climate with a decent amount of rain. I'm not going to use runflat anymore.

I don't mind wider tires in the front if it's going to drive and feel better. I looked up prices and it doesn't go up.. The expensive ones are the 265/40/18 but if it's worth the price I'll look into that as well.

Go to "willtheyfit.com", and compare your stock tire sizes with some other sizes. It'll give you an idea of the difference in overall diameter (which could affect your speedo reading), width, etc, and how much closer they'll be to the suspension. As for your existing tire sizes, with the rear being that much wider, I'd be surprised if the wheels are the exact same sizes (i.e. same width and offset). It would stand to reason that your wheels are staggered as well, so trying to go with a squared tire setup really won't work.
