Does anyone have experience with "turbo cams?" I believe AA/RMS cams are just regrinds of stock cams for higher lift, no?

Here are the questions I have:
1) How much does it cost to do a re-grind an who's a reputable person/business to get this done?
2) How much more lift can I introduce safely? (S52US)
3) What are the specs on the Euro cams versus US cams (S50 B30, S50 B32 and S52US) in terms of lift?
4) Has anyone tried Schrick cams with before/after results/impressions? What grind was used?
5) Are there OTHER cam options out there besides stock regrind or Schrick? If so, which?

If anyone can help with any or all of those questions, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Boris

P.S. Please note that I'm talking about TURBO's and cams... NOT Superchargers or N/A!

Web cams may have an option. Not sure though. I had them in my Mitsu. I was happy with them.

Boris,
I don't think that schrick cams are such a dandy idea. If I remember correctly the NA cams increase valve overlap (bad for turbo). What you might get the biggest bang for your buck out of is a set of adjustable gears (not sure if they are stock like on M42's). Simply advance the intake cam a degree or two and retard the exhaust one or two degrees to decrease overlap. I think that's right, if the engine turns clockwise. A decrease in overlap will increase hp and decrease spool time. Other than that, I think you're looking at a custom grind, and I can't help you there.

I agree. any "performance" cams for N/A is going to have more overlap which is bad for turbos. that overlap in which both intake and exhaust valve are opened at the same time (to some degree) to improve scavenging is going to hurt with a turbo creating back pressure.
