Guy on Craigslist selling a 2002 M54 engine for $200.
Have no need for it but if I had the room I would snag it.
Came out of a E46, doesn't say if it is M54B25 or M54B30

Likely a 2.5, but maybe it’s a 3.0

internals and accessories all have value. Pistons, crank, camshafts. The head (which IIRC is same between 2.5 & 3.0) is worth $300 alone if it hasn’t already overheated.

the block, after a good soda or bead blast, would make a great vertical wine rack for 6 bottles - not my idea
