Does anybody know what the black cone shaped piece is that connects the clutch hydraulic line into the clutch master cylinder? I am having issues with my master cylinder leaking at the end of it, bought a new master cylinder, still experiencing leaking so I figure this connection is what is causing it. I went to the BMW dealership and they are telling me the system shows it doesn't exist in my vehicle, even though I took the original master cylinder with this piece attached to it to show the function. I'm trying to get this taken care of myself so I don't have to drop a few hundred dollars for the shop to repair.

Welcome to the Forum!

Not sure what part you are asking, perhaps it here: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=WB73-USA-11-2006-E92-BMW-335i&diagId=21_0208

So part number 8, the hose, it is that cone shaped piece at the end of the line on the left side that inserts into the master cylinder. What's crazy is they had this exact diagram pulled up at the dealership and said the system is telling them it doesn't exist in my car.

What I am running into is when this piece is seated inside of the master cylinder, I am having it leak where the connection is made. I have the silver clip attached to hold the line in place and I have the o-ring in place on this black connection piece, but brake fluid comes out around the outsides and it can't generate any pressure. I've gotten the same results with a new aftermarket master cylinder and the old master cylinder so I am trying a new OEM master cylinder from BMW tomorrow, but I am trying to remove any outside variables to narrow down what the actual issue is.

Sounds like to me that they didn't rebuild the master very will, and not the seals are leaking.

I just got done installing the new OEM master cylinder and I still have the same issue. It holds pressure better but fluid is coming out at a pretty good rate around the retention lock. The dealership said they are going to try and get with BMW themselves about getting this part as I just can't think of anything else that could be causing the issue.

Oh, that maybe part of the tube itself. I am assuming that it comes off, but I would think that an o-ring would be needed to seal it in the groove about halfway.
