Are there distinct details on the Hella brand headlights that would help my case?

This dickbag on offer up sold me what he advertised as "brand new Hella brand HIDs" for several hundred dollars

And what i got were broken knock offs

They dont have the DOT markings on the top like my OE HIDs (which are damaged btw)

Nor do they have the BMW style mountings for the bulbs(they have these flimsy wire clips)

Is there branding info on the Hella lights anywhere i should be aware of?682686682687

Yikes... how much did you pay? Those don’t look like genuine Hellas

Man, mail order from offer up?
Here in Washington, you have plenty of bmw products that you can go look at and pick up in person to avoid that kind of problem.
And junkyards, like Pick n Pull.
Pull a part or whatever they're called now.

Any chance youll say where specifically?
I just started my refund claim
And i want to have all the proof possible
It doesnt say Hella anywhere on it
But if im able to prove that its on the legit products
That would help
Again thanks for your time

If you keep a close eye on Ebay, you'll probably find something good eventually (either auctions that no one else bids on or cheap buy-it-now prices that get snapped up).

By searching through sold listings, it looks like useable Xenon sets have gone for under $200 in the last number of months.

I used to use IFTTT to automatically let me know when something I was looking for had been posted, but it looks they stopped offering that function this past spring.

Apparently https://automatedsearches.com/ is a substitute (but I have never used it).

Thanks for the suggestions, ill def check into em
But gotta jump the hurdle Im currently at, which is making sure im not getting stuck with cheap repros instead of the Hella brand lights i was advertised.....

Maybe when its light out tomorrow ill look over my OEM lights and hopefully see where it says Hella so i can point that out in my refund claim

TY
For some reason none of the googling or other searches pulled anything obvious
