Hello first time posting I have lurked read up but no luck. My 328i started to crank slow went from like .5 seconds too 2.75 seconds. I thought it would be the battery got it tested came back clean. However today I encountered that when I cranked it and switched it into reverse it turned off it did this twice the third time I cranked it and gave it gas and it managed to stay on. I drove it home felt a little rough took a while to start accelerating. I got home parked it took a nap and when I went to crank it again and put it in reverse it didn't turn off this time any idea and input would greatly be appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum!
Have you tried to pull any codes? Is the check engine light or EML on? Does the car start just fine after a couple of minutes of being off?
I am thinking you will have low fuel pressure codes, which would point towards the Fuel pressure regulator in the tank.

Cool, and that's why you always pull codes before throwing parts at a car.
Be sure to come back and let us know if that fixed the issue to close out the thread.
