Hi I'm having a problem with my car, it was just running perfectly after a trip to the dealership for a fuel leak (which they didnt fix perfectly, long story)
Anyways, cutting to the chase, the number 1 cylinder injector bracket was not on correctly and the result was the injector hopping up and down until the aluminum high pressure fuel rod attached finally broke, spraying gas everywhere, I caught the problem immediately after I pulled the vehicle over, ordered a new fuel pipe and installed the bracket on the injector correctly...I cleaned up the pooled fuel around the injectors and started the car...everything ran and sounded great except for a tiny bit of smoke or vapor coming from around the 1st injector which I assumed could have been from excess fuel sneaking in around it.(I wasnt sure).the engine light was still on so I took it easy and then parked it to see if there was still the smoke or vapor problem and it was about thr same..the engine light went off and I scanned the engine with an app... everything seemed to be fine...as I kept driving smoke started coming from the engine and I noticed all the ignition coils weren't staying auctioned down,(I was driving without the engine cover) the vehicle was shaking a bit, and I got a blinking engine light and an engine management light so I immediately turned off the car...the fan was on high...started it, stopped it, the fan was good.....the next scan came up with all 6 cylinders misfiring and low pressure to turbos(I've included a picture)..I.does anyone have any idea what might be the issue? first thing I'm going to do is go to the root of the issue and pull the first fuel injector to see if there is any excess fuel once I have the car towed back to my home but until then I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of what might be the issue?
