As the subject say, I am looking for a good VIN decoder, thanks
There used to be a lot of them around but they stopped working on older cars recently for some reason. Bimmercat still works but misses some info (Gives my production date in the upholstery code field).

bimmer.work also works I just found, but you'll need to enter the whole vin

Rumor has it, some company bought exclusive access to the detailed VIN info, and is hoarding it behind paywalls.
It could be that, but it could be BMW themselves as you used to be able to view the service manual online but that's behind a paywall now.

On top of that you also get a message saying "You have reached a daily limit for using decoder service."if you try to search for more than one VIN. It's a real shame since I relied on it to find what options my cars have and their order numbers.
