Z3 Tire size width increase

2000 Z3 2.8 Roaster. Looking for a wider tire. will 245/R50/16, using original wheels be ok?

What size is the tires on the car now? Use you hands to see how much clearance current exists. If it’s tight now, then a wider tire may not fit. Go to Tire Rack, enter your car’s info and see if the website will allow you to buy wider tires.
